Mwasalat launches Intelligent Transport System and Mwasalat app

With an aim to improve the efficiency of the public transport network in the sultanate, Mwasalat launched the Intelligent transport system on Tuesday. On the occasion, a ceremony was held at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre under the patronage of H E Khamis Mohammed al Shamakhi, Undersecretary for Transport in the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

Mwasalat Takes Vaccine

Oman National Transport Company and National Ferries Company "Mwasalat" have launched a comprehensive internal campaign to vaccinate against Covid-19 to ensure safety for all its employees and users of its services, under the slogan "Mwasalat Takes Vaccine".

Mwasalat, through “Ferries” service, transports more than 210,000 passengers and 9100 tons of cargo on Shannah- Masirah route since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic.

Mwasalat "Ferries" service between Masirah Island and Shanna Port has contributed greatly to facilitating the movement of passengers between the island and the mainland, and enhancing economic activities and services.
