Continuing sustainable efforts, the Bus Platform of the International Association of Public Transport in the Middle East and North Africa was held its meeting this morning in Salalah, organized by UITP MENA and hosted by Mwasalat. The meeting was chaired by Eng. Badar bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, CEO of Mwasalat and Vice Chair of UITP MENA Executive Committee, with the presence of a select group of experts and industry leaders in the region.

  

This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to enhance regional cooperation in the field of public transport. During the meeting, the latest developments in public transport technologies and ways to improve and develop transport infrastructure in the Middle East and North Africa were discussed.

 

   

 

Participants also expressed the importance of adopting innovative strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability in public transport networks, contributing to the improvement of citizens` quality of life in the region. The discussions also covered possible ways to apply smart and eco-friendly technologies in transport systems and reduce carbon emissions.

 

The meeting concluded with attendees emphasizing the importance of continued fruitful cooperation between all concerned parties to achieve common goals in the field of public transport.
