In a strategic move to promote public transport culture among youth and students in Oman, Mwasalat, a member of Asyad Group, has announced a new initiative offering free transport, renewable every six months. This initiative, coordinated with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, can be easily activated via the Mwasalat app.

The initiative aims to encourage regular use of public transport among youth and students, reducing reliance on private vehicles, easing traffic congestion, and lowering carbon emissions. Through this step, Mwasalat reaffirms its commitment to achieving its strategic goals of making public transport more attractive and inclusive for all segments of society.

Beyond environmental benefits, Mwasalat strives to provide safe, reliable, and easily accessible transport services, ensuring a superior and comfortable travel experience for users. This initiative is part of the company’s vision to enhance sustainability and support national efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, aligning with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
